# 👋Welcome

### What RageFit does

* **Set goals** (manual goals, steps, screen time, focus timers, and more)
* **Track progress automatically** where supported (especially on Android)
* **Roast loop**: miss a goal → get a roast + notification → reset and go again
* **Social accountability**: friends, rivalries, messages, leaderboards
* **Events**: weekly Boss Battles + team challenges

### The core loop

1. Create a goal (simple + measurable)
2. Give RageFit permission to track it (if needed)
3. Stay on track — or get roasted
4. Learn, adjust, and build streaks

> **Important:** RageFit is meant to be funny and motivating, not mean. You can reduce or disable roasts in **Settings → Content Preferences**.

### Getting started (5 minutes)

1. **Create your first goal**
2. **Enable notifications** (so the app can actually keep you accountable)
3. If you’re using screen-time goals on Android, **enable Usage Access**
4. Check your **Inbox** when you get a roast
5. Add a friend or rival for extra pressure

### Where to go next

* **Getting Started → Permissions** (Android Usage Access, notifications, steps)
* **Features → Goals**
* **Features → Ragebait Inbox**
* **Features → Events**
* **Troubleshooting → Notifications not working**

### Need help?

If something isn’t tracking correctly, start with **Troubleshooting** — most issues come down to permissions or battery optimization settings.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://guide.ragefit.app/welcome.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
